Us tariffs take effect (March 4)
The US imposed tariffs of 25 per cent on Mexican and Canadian goods (10 per cent on energy goods), while tariffs on Chinese imports were raised to 20 per cent. Mexico, Canada and China have announced countermeasures that are expected to have a significant impact on international freight forwarding and cross-border logistics costs.
